Here’s the short answer –
No. But, there are exceptions.
We’ll clearly explain if there are any costs associated with your first consultation. There’s no charge for an initial phone consultation.
If we act on your behalf on a Personal Injury Compensation matter, we will usually undertake the case on a no win no fee basis although we will ask the client to assist with payment of out of pocket expenses such as court fees, expert fees and medical reports if they are able to.
First things first – we’ll always give you a fixed price quote depending on the property you are purchasing as a general guide. This ensures there are no surprises.
Our fees for the sale or purchase of NSW residential property are $1,395.00 including GST. In addition, cost of searches and certificates are charged at cost (fees effective as at 1st of November 2019). A fee of $275.00 plus cost of searches are charged to prepare a listing contract for the sale of residential properties.
For rural acreage properties, our fees are in the vicinity of $1,595.00 including GST.

A normal fee for sale or purchase of a residential property in Queensland is approximately
$1,150.00 including GST.
A fee of $275.00 plus cost of searches are charged to prepare a listing contract for the sale of residential properties.
The price for combined Wills, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents package are $440.00 for a single person or $575.00 for a couple. This is for all three documents. If these documents are prepared during the course of a conveyancing transaction, a 25% discount is given.
We are one of the few Law Firms who will give a fixed quote at the commencement of the matter as to what you will be charged for the administration of an Estate. This will depend upon the value of the Estate and the nature of the assets. For example, if there is real estate involved. If you are acting as the administrator of an Estate, we strongly recommend that you contact us to discuss your needs and we will provide a fee estimate or quote. Regarding litigation and general legal matters, we charge hourly rates and attempt to provide an estimate of fees at the outset of the matter.
