Grahams Lawyers was founded in 1982 by Keith Graham. Our solicitors are eligible to practice in both NSW and QLD. We are leading business, conveyancing and farming specialists.  Our clients range from first home buyers and elderly pensioners through to multi million dollar property developments and Government departments. Licenced Conveyancers can only undertake property transfers. Solicitors not only undertake the same work undertaken by Conveyancers but are fully fledged Lawyers who can help you with all legal matters. 

Often during a conveyancing transaction, issues may arise which can result in compensation claims, misrepresentations, interpretations of leases and legal restrictions on the title of a property which may result in court proceedings. 

Conveyancers cannot be involved in litigation nor do they have specialist legal knowledge and training required to resolve such issues. With their broader knowledge of the law, Solicitors are suited to handle complex property transactions that pose more risks.

In Queensland, only Solicitors can be involved in property transactions.

It’s always a good idea to establish a relationship with a Solicitor who can provide advice and help concerning any problems that you or any members of your family may be involved in whether it be police matters, car accidents, family disputes or collecting debts.

The fees charged by Grahams for property conveyancing are usually very similar to fees charged by other local conveyancers. We endeavour to always be extremely competitive with our fees.

All of our staff are licenced Justices of the Peace in NSW and we can assist with witnessing any documents.

 Yes, Keith Graham is a licenced Notary Public who can witness and certify
foreign documents.

These are extremely important documents and we offer a significant discount off our usual fees if you prepare a Will, Power of Attorney or Enduring Guardianship whilst we are undertaking your conveyancing work for you.
